A Tale of Two Delights

In collaboration with Vie Studio, we developed the concept and design for Messina and Shadow Baking’s North Adelaide home, a space inspired by the theatrical charm and faded luxury.
Rather than treating the two offerings as separate personalities, we imagined them as part of the same fantastical setting. Messina takes on the composure of a grand hotel lobby counter,  polished, orderly and quietly opulent, while Shadow Baking leans further into the whimsical, confectionary side of the story.

Old-world hospitality and cinematic symmetry is woven throughout, creating a space that feels suspended somewhere between memory and make-believe.
A little grand, a little strange, and made for delight.
